GREEN is associated with the HEART chakra. Organs associated with this chakra include the heart and breasts, and the gland linked to it is the thymus gland.
This chakra is connected to love and self-love, signifying the ability to give and receive love unconditionally. When balanced, we can express love, nurture ourselves, and accept our imperfections.

Some issues related to the heart chakra include: heart diseases, immune system diseases, such as AIDS and ME (myalgia encephalomyelitis, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome or post-viral syndrome); other immune system problems and allergies, and breast cancer.
Green is a balancing color, situated in the middle of the visible spectrum. The upper three colors are known as the "cool" colors and have a calming effect, while the lower three are the "warm" colors, having a stimulating effect. Green signifies balance between these two extremes.
Therapists often use green as a balancing color at the end of a color therapy treatment. It is associated with balance and harmony and can be helpful during times of stress. In cases of trauma, draping a person in green silk can have a therapeutic effect.
