The July/ August 2000 edition of the Journal Of Manipulative and Physiological rectifiers contained a case study of how a case with glaucoma was helped by chiropractic. A 25 time old woman who went to a chiropractor for reverse pain. She was also suffering from natural glaucoma that had oppressively affected her vision.
A comprehensive ophthalmologic examination before the inauguration of the chiropractic care showed that the case had severe sight impairment due to her natural condition.
nearly incontinently after she started on her chiropractic care,( one visit), the case noticed an enhancement in sight. After four adaptations, the cases monocular visual field had increased from roughly 2 to roughly 20 of normal. Although the case would noway recapture total sight, theten-fold enhancement in just one week was veritably significant.
Although several other reports of this type have been made by chiropractors in their practices, this case was unique because it was vindicated by an ophthalmologic examination performed by an independent medical ophthalmic surgeon before, and after the treatment. Although the sample size of 1 isn't sufficient to conclude anything statistically, the results are clearly veritably encouraging.
