Self-Care Measures at Home
While there is no cure for fibromyalgia, at-home treatments can alleviate some of the symptoms.
The most crucial therapy for muscle pain involves engaging in regular, low-impact exercise. Maintaining muscle health and conditioning through exercises three times a week can reduce discomfort. Focus on low-stress activities like walking, swimming, water aerobics, and biking, as opposed to strenuous exercises like weight training. In addition to alleviating tenderness, regular exercise can increase energy levels and improve sleep quality.

Prevention
Since the exact cause of fibromyalgia is not fully understood, there is no known method for preventing it. However, adopting a healthy lifestyle, ensuring sufficient sleep, and maintaining a positive outlook are steps all individuals can take towards achieving optimal health.
